Ride Yourself Fit has formed a team for the American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure in San Diego.

100 Mile, 63 Mile, 30 Mile, 12 Mile, 5K Run/Walk
Registration fee: February 1 - 28:  $25; March 1 - April 13:  $30
Fundraising Minimum: $200.00

If you can't make this ride, you can still donate to the AmerIcan Diabetes Association through
 the Team RYF members listed on the above link.  Please donate any amount possible to any of
the Team RYF members listed and help them achieve their fundraising goal.

Team RYF "Tour de Cure"  Upcoming Training Rides and Program Schedule:

 Interval Training - a short ride up to 20 miles with some sprints, hill climbs and cardio workouts.


 Rides will be determined each Wednesday depending
on weather and number of riders participating.

  Hydration and Nutrition before, during and after
a long ride. How to use your water bottle while riding.

 Interval Training with sprints and some climbing.  Short mileage
ride with specific training for expected road conditions.

 Taking breaks on long rides.
  Reading and following route slips.

 42 mile ride to Riverside.
Distance and busy street traffic training.

 Clothing and proper bicycling dress.
  Layers for temperature and weather conditions.

 Interval Training with sprints and some climbing.  Short mileage
ride with specific training for expected road conditions.

 62 mile Metric Century Ride to Yucaipa, Highland and San Bernardino. Distance training and climbing.

 Review and practice of bicycle riding techniques.

ride with specific training for expected road conditions.

 Final review of bicycle skills and analysis of distances
to be ridden by Team RYF members.  Question and answer session.
 Short ride of 10 to 20 miles around Redlands to review any last minute bicycle skills and answer questions.


     


Its Official: The Team RYF jersey has been designed and approved. We are currently taking orders. The jerseys are $80.00 ($40.00 for those registered for Team RYF) for sleeveless and short sleeve. If you want to wear for Tour de Cure on April 14, 2018, we will need to place order by mid February.
